Product Code : SCL-EI-12564 General description Portable testing equipment that can be used in a variety of settings for quantifying E. coli, Total Coliforms, Fecal Coliforms or Enterococci presence in lakes, rivers, coastal water, catchment sites, drinking water or in water treatment plants.
The kit contains individual bioreactor, for the measurement performed inside a transparent plastic sampling vial with an effective volume of 40mL.

Technical specification The kit can process one water sample at a time, the user is able to load sample as it is prepared. The kit provides a quantified response in terms of bacteria/100 mL present in the sampled water, on the display built into the unit, the product has been validated by WHO laboratory testing.
Typical time to result for 100 CFU/100ml is 9.3 hours, 10 hours for 29 CFU/100ml and 12 hours for <2.5 CFU/100ml.
It can be operated on an external rechargeable battery in remote field locations, any 12V battery with a capacity of 3Ah or larger, like a laptop power pack or even a small lead acid battery. Battery is not included with the product.
The device is housed in a rugged case and is splash resistant.
